Feel good factor is back for Mammookka with the character of Bavutti, simple and sweet display of performances from the lead make this "Bavuttiyude Namathil" a appreciative one. May be its first time a superstar is not dominating the other characters and that's because of the nice script from Ranjith. Bavutti (Mammootty) works as a driver in the family of a wealthy couple Sethu (Shankar Ramakrishnan) and Vanaja (Kavya Madhavan). Family treats Bavutti as their family member and in return Bavutti
can go for any extent towards the family. Bavutti is also a side artiste with his acting and his Malabar slang put on some fun moments.
Here we have characters like Mariam (Kaniha), who works as maid and Noor Jahan (Rima Kallingal), a tuition teacher, and their communication with Vanaja, who is simple and soft spoken and make sure every bit help for the members of the family. on the other hand, Sethu just want to concentrates his ways to the wealth. In this mood of good times, a person appears in front of Vanaja, which takes you to the nicely written climax of this story.
Ranjith once again stamped his presence to weave the simple platform in a emphatic way, especially the character of Vanaja is sequenced with the good touch. Director G.S.Vijayan adapted the script perfectly with his direction to showcase the best out of the actors. Narration develops the good blend of characters and theme. Manoj Pillai's direction of photography adds the perfect essence to the frames.
Another one without whom it wouldn't be possible is Mammootty, who made his character a relevant one in superb mannerism. Kavya Madhavan approached the character of Vanaja in a splendid way, which was the need of the situation, so a special applause for her. Vineeth, Shankar Ramakrishnan, Harishree Ashokan, Sudheesh, Mamukoya and others acting is the main source of this movie. Songs add nice flavour with the hands of Shahbaz Aman and lyrics were penned by Rafeeq Ahamed. For the banner of Capital Theatres, Ranjith is the producer of this malayalam movie "Bavuttiyude Namathil".
